Author's Name in Table of Contents in Word 2003
Hello,
I am trying to create a table of comments for a manuscript with submissions by multiple authors. I want each heading in the Table of Contents to include the title of the article, the author's name, the page number on which that article begins. How do I do this? The only solution I have found so far is to make the author's name and article title in the same heading style in the body of the document. However, this has two disadvantages: 1.It forces me to write the author's name and the title of the article on the same line and in the same font in the body of the document. 2. It makes the author's name and article title appear in the same font in the Table of Contents. If I make the author's name and the article title different heading styles, it looks like they are two SEPARATE entries in the TOC. Is there another way to do this? Thanks in advance for your help! |

Author's Name in Table of Contents in Word 2003
You can use TC fields to add to the TOC text that shouldn't be on the page.
