Cannot create "Exchange Server Client" email account in Outlook
When I try to create "Exchange server" email account, I entered Exchange
Server address, user name, and when clicking on "check name" button, a message displayed: "The action could not be completed. The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." Switching to a different user on the same computer has the same problem. I've checked tcp/ip settings, dns, etc. are all correct. I'm able to ping exchange server by name or by ip address. I was able to create the exchange server mail account on the other 6 computers without problems. All clients are running XP Pro with win2k domain controller and Exchange server 2003. Please help! -jack
