I have a slide with 8 small photos that animates one at a time to form one
photo,
like putting together a puzzle one piece at a time.
Once the animation is complete, is there a way to loop the animation to start
over? I want the puzzle to repeat itself until I transition to the next
slide?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

I think you should be able to find the best answer at the PowerPoint
Looping Tutorial:

In Slide Show, click "Set Up Show." Under "Show options," check "Loop
continuously until 'Esc' [Escape]" When you click "View Show," the slide
show show commence and will continue to run until you click the Esc button on
the top left of your keyboard.

That would work if you wanted the entire slide show to loop, but the OP
wants just one slide to loop for a while and then to move on to the rest
of the show. That is more complicated, which is why I suggested the
PowerPoint Looping Tutorial.
