--Getting rid of negatives
hi...
lets say a cell has -4 in it. Is there a way of getting rid of the negative but keep the 4? its a result of a formula not just -4. Thanks -- Tony Wilson Email: Web Site: http://www.tonydisabled.com |

You could put -1 in a spare cell and click on it and do Copy, then highlight
your cell with the formula and do Paste-special Multiply Vaya con Dios Chuck, CABGx3 "Tony wilsxn" wrote in message 8.16... hi... lets say a cell has -4 in it. Hi...
You could try Format Cells Number: Custom Custom the cell formatting to: #,##0;#,##0 as the second part refers to negatives, omitting the minus sign means your negative numbers will only show as positive numbers but still retain their negative value! regards Mark E.
