SendTo From Server
I am planning on splitting my database and putting the backend on a shared
drive. Though this is a very small application, given that there will be more than one person using it, I thought this would be the best route. However, currently when I use SendTo commands, the emails are shown to be generated from my Outlook account. If I split this database, will the SendTo command automatically run from the users Outlook account, will it try to access my email account to send, or do I need a new Outlook account for the server to ensure the messages are sent? I do not want to split if these command buttons will not function. Thank you in advance for the help. Brian |

Assuming you are using the SendObject method, the messages will be sent from
the users Outlook account. HTH Dale "Brian Carlson" wrote in message ... I am planning on splitting my database and putting the backend on a shared drive.
