mailmerge to email with attachment

I want to mailmerge an email (so they go individually) and attach a PDF file. Word will create the email and send it fine, but does not seem to allow attachments. If I start the message in outlook and add the attachment, then go to mailmerge, it does not send the attachment.

How can I send individual emails with an attachment to a list of people?

hello Doug,

i go to OUTLOOK 2003ToolsMacroVisual Basic Editor... then in Visual Basic Editor i go to ToolsReferences

i find Microsoft Office Outlook ##.0 Object Library already selected. i run marco, but nothing happens!

i still cant understand how to mail merge with attachments. could u plz help?

Have you executed the mailmerge main document to a new document. You must
have that document active on the screen when you run the macro.
