Default A hand in a cell??

I have this program what does a very "queer" think:
When I place the cursor in certain cells, the cursor changes to a HAND. If
you then click the cell an inputbox shows up. Once you type information in
that box the inputted data shows up in the cell that you clicked to start
with.
Does any one know how this is done?
I would be very much intrerested in finding out\Thanks

Sounds that they have superimposed a transparent shape over the cell, and
assigned a macro to that shape that solicits input and stores it in the
cell.
