Default Text disappears after Page 1 ?????

One of my clients has a problem with not being able to
continue typing after completing Page 1 of a document.
The text disappears, and she cannot view page 2, or
complete the document, unless she switches back to Normal
View. Is there possible a setting that's been turned on
that is causing this?

Additional Info:
She is not using a table while this happens.
This is happening with every new document she creates.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Send her to Format | Columns to make sure that the number of columns is set
to 1.
