Default Word Template Documents

Recently all Word templates displayed on my screen are grayed-out and contain the command block that is associated with that cell, instead of the actual data that should be in the block. I.e., instead of June 23, 2004, the command "{DATE}" is shaded gray and displayed on my screen.

Help!

Press ALT+F9 to toggle the display - but before you do so, you might find it
useful to change {DATE} to {CREATEDATE} so that dates in your documents are
not volatile.
