Default zero value by default, when linking

I have a workbook that contains a sheet, with cells that are linked to
another workbook. The first workbook does NOT have value in some
cells. when I link these cells to the new workbook, their value
becomes zero, when I want to have empty cells.

Any idea how to fix this? My formulas won't work, as the cells aren't
empty.

thanks in advance.

Jo

This sounds like an Excel question. Try posting to an Excel newsgroup.
