Adding programming to Access 2003
When upgrdaing to Access 2003 from 2000, can you add programming to new
version? and will any programming that was on the 2000 database have to be re-written when migrating to 2003. I hope someone understands what I'm asking. |

Adding programming to Access 2003
Paunie:
I believe I understand what you're asking... 1) Yes, if you migrate a db to the newer version of Access, you are able to continue to add code it. 2) I do believe all code, that can be read by Access, is brought over...even if the code itself won't function in the newer version. Having non-functioning code, or non-supported functions, would seem like the only reason you would NEED to add code to a previously functional db. HTH. Adding programming to Access 2003
In actual fact, the default file format for Access 2003 is the Access 2000
format, so absolutely nothing will change and your application will continue to work as before. -- Doug Steele, Microsoft Access MVP http://I.Am/DougSteele (no private e-mails, please) "paunie" wrote in message ...
