Default "Macros disabled" message in Word. How enabled?

I have been trying to print labels using standard set up in Word. I have done
it succesfully many times before. But not now.

Could it be that each time I start Word a message comes up that macros are
dissabled?

Probably not for that reason. What happens when you try to print the
labels?

You can enable macros by changing the security level under
ToolsMacroSecurity, BUT YOU SHOULD NOT DO THAT UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT THE
MACROS ARE AND THAT IT IS SAFE TO RUN THEM.

Despite having the correct label parameters in place when they print labels
are of varying sizes and don't match sheet of labels. I have printed labels
sucessfully on a nuber of occasions. This is the first time I have had
problems.

I doubt that is the problem. However, the message indicates that macros are
trying to run when you start Word, probably from an Add-In that came with
some other program.

If these Add-Ins are something you want, you can change your security
settings to "trust installed templates and Add-Ins" and the message will
probably stop popping up and the Addins will be useful to you.
