Batch conversion wizard gets stuck on last screen....

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I am converting MS Works 7.0 files to
Word files using the Batch Conversion Wizard. I followed the instructions
for opening several documents at once....i.e. put them all in one folder. On
the File menu, click New. In the NEW DOCUMENT task pane, under Templates,
click ON MY COMPUTER. Clicked on the OTHER DOCUMENTS tab...Double clicked
Batch Conversion Wizard. Ok...I follow the instructions on the wizard. I
want to convert Works 7.0 files to WORD documents. ( I have tried converting
Works 7.0 files, that didn't work so I went back and selected convert "text
files", no good, then I tried "recover text from any file" and that made no
difference) Anyway...the problem I am having is at the end of the wizard . I
selected my source and destination folders accordingly. In the next pane of
the wizard under "FILE SELECTION"....I am not sure what to do. Both the
available and to convert boxes are empty....it says to double click the file
name to add or remove them from the list....I have double clicked my options
in the drop down list....I have even hit "Select all"...I'm not sure which is
right....Finally, on the last screen after hitting next it says..."The wizard
is now prepared to perform the batch conversion. Nothing else
happens....next is not highlighted and Finish is not highlighted. What am I
supposed to do?
