Default ?Recursive relationships???

I seem to have related tables in such a way that the
relationship view automatically creates copies of two of
my tables with _1, _2 etc at the end.

Please can you tell me what I've done wrong?
Thanks you.

You haven't necessarily done anything wrong.

Whenever ACCESS needs a second relationship between two tables, where the
two relationships share one field from one table, ACCESS makes a "copy" of
that table so that it can make the relationship. Similarly, this can happen
when you create and save queries that have joins in them.

So, unless your database is "not working" in some way that would be related
to this issue, you're most likely just fine!

Thank you - that's reassuring as the database seems to
work.

You could also try hitting the 'Show All Relationships' button (or
Relationhips Menu, Show All); you may
have some relationships with that table that are hidden.
