Calendar Copying Issue
Hello,
I have a friend who is trying to setup her Outlook 2003 calendar at her office so that everyone in the office can view it. Her network uses an Exchange server but for whatever reason they do not make use of it for incoming/outgoing e-mail (I don't know why it is setup this way). She uses regular POP for e-mail, so what I figured needed to be done was to setup her Exchange profile so that she could share her Calendar with the other people on the Exchange server. I was able to do this, however, I noticed that the calendar she has been editing is obviously not the calendar for the Exchange profile. When I attempted to copy the "local" calendar and then overwrite the Exchange server calendar, it would not let me. Is there a way to do this? I was able to rename the local calendar and then share it on the Exchange server, but whenever I tried to open the calendar from another workstation, I got an error message (which I think might be because it was trying to open the default calendar which is empty?). Thanks in advance. -- Message posted via http://www.officekb.com |
