Garry,

Please repost WITHOUT the attachment. Very few of the volunteers here
will download or open attachments, and they're *very* disruptive for
those on dialup connections.

Hi John, here goes

I am using access 2003 and have successfully linked word documents to my
tables. That is until I installed some third party software which I have
know binned.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled office 2003 but keep on getting an error
message as follows :-

A problem occurred while accessing the OLE object.

* The OLE server may not be available because it's on a network server and
you lost the connection. Try re-establishing the connection.
* The OLE object may be stored in a linked file, but the file isn't
available, Activate the OLE server outside of Microsoft Office Access, and
then open the file containing the OLE object to verify that it still exists
and can be accessed,

Help files cannot resolve this, I am going around in circles could someone
please point me in the right
direction before I loose all my hair
Thanks Garry
