Default Viewing the database window in Access 2003

I've just opened earlier version in Access 2003. In the the earlier version
I could see the database window but no longer in 2003. How do I get the
Database to appear in 2003. Also, I actually have two machines running
Access 2003. One machine opens with the database window and the second one
doesn't. I tried the f11 key but that doesn't do anything.

Thanks

Don

Your crossposting is little excessive ..(a bit rude).

I would check few things:

First, hold down the shift key during startup. and check the tools-startup
options. There is some check boxes to display the database window.

The other setting to check is tools-options-view tab

You want to un-check the windows in task bar setting. (this actually needs
to be un-checked to hide the window, but you case seems to be just the
opposite.....I believe this is a bug).

So, try holding down the shift key during the startup of the application, as
that might do the trick. If not..then check the above two suggestions.
