Default Properties dialog in design view

Hello,

Can someone advise how to have the properties dialog box come on
automatically whenever I go to design view for a form? As it is now I have
to open it manually to use it.

Thanks!

Jim...

In my experience you only have to open it if you previously closed it. If I
close a form in design view and leave the property sheet open when I do so, the
next form I view in design view will also have the property sheet open. That is
how it "should" be working for you.

Rick,

Hmm, that's interesting. My four (4) personal *.MDB files certainly don't
behave that way. If I open the property sheet in design view, it will stay
open throughout that Access session. But when I close Access and open it
later, the property sheet has closed in design view. The strange thing is
that I have some sample *.MDB files that I use to "borrow" code from and
those files all behave as you describe regarding the property sheet in
design view. The only fundamental difference I can see is that the sample
files are in A2000 format and my files are in A2003 format.

Any other ideas on how to keep the property sheet open in design view?
