Click the little dialog launcher button in the bottom right corner of the Styles group on the Home ribbon (or press the shortcut combination Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S) to open the Styles task pane. At the bottom of the task pane, click the third button, Manage Styles. In the Manage Styles dialog, click the Import/Export button at the bottom left corner to open the Organizer. In the Organizer, you can select the source and destination documents or templates (click one of the Close File buttons and then click it again when it changes to an Open File button). Use the Copy button to copy selected styles from one side to the other. If you need to use the Organizer often, go to Office button Word Options Customize, set the category to Commands Not In the Ribbon, and add the Organizer to your Quick Access Toolbar. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
