Default How do I create a calender in Access?

I am trying to create a calender in Access, but am unsure where to start. I
am a novice in Access. I haven't created any forms in my database yet,
because I am unsure how to manipulate the forms/tables etc. Can anyone tell
me how to set up a calender in a way I can understand?
Thanks

Hi Stevie

Are you asking how to use the Calendar Control as provided with Access or how
to program your own calendar.

Best regards

I am trying to program my own, as I'd rather not download any programs. I had
heard that this was possible
Thanks

Hi Stevie

Creating your own calendar, especially for a novice, would be tremedous
endeavor.

Over the years I have created quite a few calendars. If you wish I can send
you an example of how this is done.

If you wish to receive a copy, simply send me an email confirming.

You haven't provided much to go on since we don't know if you are looking
only for date selection from a calendar, scheduled event display on form
where you can edit data, or reporting of scheduled events in a calendar
format. Some of these are quite simple while others are way to complex for
most developers.

If you want to see some calendar report solutions, check out the calendar
reports at http://www.invisibleinc.com/divFiles.cfm?divDivID=4.

Duane,

Can you refer me to examples of scheduled event display on form where you
can edit data and reporting of scheduled events in a calendar format. I'm
looking for a method to display a month calendar form where I can enter
events on any day and a method to display a month calendar report showing
events that have been entered for specific days.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Vanessa

Check the products at this link:
http://www.componentsource.com/Catal... USFUNCCALEND

Trying to create your own form would not be worth the effort. Also, consider
using Outlook.

The link I provided earlier has simple calendar reports.

Another alternative is the date picker control that you can download from
http://www.wolfwares.com.
