Some names in the nk2 file have 'inverted commas' around them and others
don't? I would like all names to appear without the 'inverted commas'. (a) How do I remove them? (b) How do I prevent them appearing by default? Many thanks, John |

Thank you both for your replies.
Why am I bothered? Bothered is too strong a word but I want things to appear in the way that I prefer. In the greater scheme of things, it is not an important issue. However, I occasionally get others asking me why their names in a distribution list have inverted commas or apostrophes around them and others do not. They want to know what is different about them. Leaving psychological considerations to one side, it should be possible to come up with a technical explanation to this question. As for just accepting what the system decides to do, I consider that this brilliant man-made system is there to do what I want, not the other way round. I am happy to acquire third party software to edit the nk2 file. I have a program which allows me to see the contents of the nk2 file but not to edit it. Do either of you know of any software which will allow me to edit it? Thank you for your interest.
