Default How do I share my mail merge templates with other users?

I'm trying to share Word templates with other users on my system, but only I
can see my documents, and other users who've tried can only see their own
documents.

We're trying to create templates to use in CRM, but can find no help in
either CRM or Word.

Any ideas appreciated... thanks

It depends on whether they are "proper" Word templates (.dot) or just .doc
files. If you look at Word Tools|Options|File locations you will see that
you can set the location for /workgroup templates/ - those templates should
be displayed along with any templates in the /User templates/ location, when
you do File|new, and then click Templates|On my computer. So what you would
typically need to do is
a. create a folder (and perhaps subfolders) in a place which can be
accessed by all your users, and apply suitable permissions
b. copy any shared templates there
c. ensure that each user's /workgroup templates/ folder is set to be that
folder

I can't currently help on any CRM aspects (e.g. if CRM makes its own
demands).
