Word Table Template from Access Database
Can anyone help with the fact that an Access Database
pulled into a Word Template with 'tables' is losing data? In the Normal view in word all of the data is viewed, in the Print Layout view in word the data is missing and then when printed the data is missing. Is there a limit on size of a table...or.... Thanks. |

G'Day Pegjac,
You may be better off in a WORD group.... .....however, click on the "¶" button on the standard toolbar so that blank lines (paragraph markers) are visible. When you say the data is visible in Normal view, what EXACTLY does that mean? That the figures are present? They are in 'tables'? That means 'Word' tables? Whereabouts on the Screen? Left? Right? Extreme Right? When you switch to Print layout view, and you say the data are missing - can you see the tables? Can you see any blank lines? There may be any number of reasons, such as the tables being to the right of the R.Margin, and therefore off the page. Let me know asap and I'll try to help! -- Regards, Pat Garard Australia ______________________________________ |

Sorry if I am in the wrong newsgroup.
The tables are within a template and the data is pulled=20 into the tables from ACCESS. When looking at the doc within WORD in the Normal View all=20 the data within the table is viewed. When switching to=20 the Print view the data is cut off at 34 or so lines=20 within the table and the rest of the data is ignored when=20 printed. The print continues with the next record. The tables are located centered on page. Does this help at all? Hi again,
Just clarify please; are the data in Print layout view FEWER that the data in Normal view? or are they the same? We started out with data visible in Normal view, invisible in Print layout view and not printing AT ALL. What I now GUESS is that the view is the same, and that what prints is the same as what is viewed! Is it that not all of the EXPECTED data can be seen? You are making me work very hard to understand! Please view: TableTable Properties Row (tab) Ensure that the Row height is not set to 'exactly' - this will cause the table to 'crop' any data that do not fit. The data are still there, but not displayed or printed. -- Regards, Pat Garard Australia ______________________________________ |
