My husband will send me an email from his personal email address at home. I
will hit the 'reply' button and instead of bringing up the email he wrote me
from, it brings up and sends to (unless I change it) his work email address.

That is because your husband configured his unidentified e-mail client to
specify one e-mail address in the From header (that you see in the [Pre]view
pane) but a different e-mail address in the Reply-To header. When you reply
to his e-mails, your e-mail client will use whatever is specified in the
Reply-To header if it exists and its value is a valid e-mail address. Guess
he wants all replies going to his business account (very bad idea to mix
personal and business e-mails in the same message store).
