Don't know of a template, but start with position applying for, current
position, brief history of experiences, "look forward to further discussing
my interest" and yours sincerely. Hope this helps, and hope you find a quick
way to do it. What a saint you are!

Hi,
Be sure to briefly include and skills that you have that relate to the
required skills in the posting. Also, list any types of programs that you are
really good @. When recruiters do a search, Those key words will stand out
and increase your chances of getting a call back. Hope that helps

Flip side was very recently heard
to utter:

Also, when writing a covering letter, make sure you use the best grammar you
possably can.

Using "@" instead of "at", capital letters in the middle of a sentence,
etc., will probably not help you or your husband's application.
