how can i move an email into an existing appointment?

Default how can i move an email into an existing appointment?

let's say that i get an email with pertanent info that i would like to place
into an appointment that is already scheduled on the calendar, how do i do
this?

Open the appointment and drag the message to its Notes area to add it as an
attachment. Or open the message, select the pertinent information, click
EditCopy, then open the appointment, select the Notes area, then click
EditPaste.

Or....

Open the appointment and use Insert Item.
