Add a caption to a picture in Publisher 2003?
I want to add a caption to a picture in a newsletter that I'm creating in
Publisher 2003. How do you do it? I've tried the Picture Toolbar and Format Picture, but don't see any way to do it with them. The picture has been inserted in the newsletter with no problem. Thanks for any help you can give me. |

Add a caption to a picture in Publisher 2003?
Cyathea was very recently heard to
utter: I want to add a caption to a picture in a newsletter that I'm creating in Publisher 2003. How do you do it? I've tried the Picture Toolbar and Format Picture, but don't see any way to do it with them. Create a text box underneath the picture. Type your caption. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher |

Add a caption to a picture in Publisher 2003?
Thanks, Ed. That did the trick. I was so intent on finding out what the
secret was in Publisher that I overlooked the obvious answer. Word has a caption function, so I assumed Publisher must too. I would have thought they'd built in the capability to automatically add a caption in Publisher since people use it for newsletters. Thank you for your help. I appreciate it. I doubt that any such tool in Publisher could be as flexible as creating it manually, to be honest. Thank you for your help. I appreciate it. Not a problem.
