Microsoft Publisher 2003 help
I can't determine from HP's site whether or not your particular printer will
print full bleed. I just contact HP's support. Your printer will not support full bleed although they say you can do a 4x6 borderless photo. Sorry to give you bad news. Get your paper cutter out. :-) -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "Jeff" wrote in message ... hp2175 "JoAnn Paules" wrote: What brand printer are you using? -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "Jeff" wrote in message ... I created a flyer for a friend of mine who is selling Mary Kay cosmetics. of coarse their signature color is pink. I created a pink background by formating the background color option. So that I could then lay an image of cosmetics on top of it. it looks perfectly fine when I go into the view option. But when I print a copy, I have a solid white border about a half inch all the way around the edges of the sheet. I want the background to print all the way across from edge to edge. no borders. I've gone in and adjusted my margins. still no luck. I even tried going into photoshop and just creating an image alone with the pink color. placing the image as a background. But still no luck. I'm at a loss as to how to fix this problem. This is the first time i've done a flyer for someone. So I have never run into this problem until now. Anybody have any ideas on what to do about this? "Jeff" wrote in message ... I tried that option too. Only problem with that is. Then my image also becomes pink because of the pink paper You could put your product images on a white background; use a two-color gradient fill from "white" to "white" with the transparency going from 0 in the center to 100% at the outside. -Isabel Conner |

Microsoft Publisher 2003 help
A small child turns to Ed, and exclaims: "Look! Look! A post from
Isabel Conner !"... You could put your product images on a white background; use a two-color gradient fill from "white" to "white" with the transparency going from 0 in the center to 100% at the outside. That would rely, however, on you having one of the few printer drivers that will output semitransparency from Publisher. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher http://www.mvps.org/the_nerd/ Before reading this message, view the disclaimer: http://mvps.org/the_nerd/disclaim.htm |
