publisher file print problem

My "old man" is actually about 2˝ years younger than I am. He had his heart attack last year - prior to getting married. And if it hadn't been for me insisting on taking him to the hospital, he wouldn't have known he was having a heart attack in the first place. We actually lead a very low-stress life at home. His job is another issue but his main problem is the hyperlipidemia. He's tried the statins, etc. All of them damage his liver. He's taking slow-release niacin right now. It's working but it's a very slow process. I'm the one who makes sure he exercises and watches his diet. You are right about the medical care. It's terribly expensive here. I do what I can but I'm not a deciding factor. Politicians do not care what I have to say. I don't have enough money to "convince" them to listen to me. Jo, what have I told you about arguing with morons? They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience. |

Like you, I enjoy a good battle occasionally. It puts a smirk on my face.

Oh Davey! I gave my heart away 11 years ago. I entrusted it to a very
special man and he takes excellent care of it. As for my mind, HA HA HA! I lost that ages ago. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "°°MS-Publisher°°" wrote in message ... And make sure the printer you buy is not a garbage HP.
HP do not honour their warranty All HP support and warranty registration is done in India call centres and HP pay slave wages. "Grant Robertson" wrote in message ... I had a similar problem with an HP 1000. In my experience I have found that there are some printers (or their drivers) that just can't handle larger print jobs. Sometimes what you think should be a normal print job is still too big for some printers. Multiple images per page really seem to choke smaller printers. If you have tried everything, then sometimes the ONLY solution is to use a bigger better printer. One workaround I have used for the multiple images problem is to only print half of a page (or less) at a time. If running the paper through multiple times causes too much curl, try pressing the pages under heavy books while they are still hot. It all takes longer but it may be faster than messing with printer settings all day. (This is NOT recommended for labels. Running through that fuser multiple times can cause the adhesive to break down and labels may start coming off in the printer.) |
