Microsoft Publisher 2003 help
I created a flyer for a friend of mine who is selling Mary Kay cosmetics. of coarse their signature color is pink. I created a pink background by formating the background color option. So that I could then lay an image of cosmetics on top of it. it looks perfectly fine when I go into the view option. But when I print a copy, I have a solid white border about a half inch all the way around the edges of the sheet. I want the background to print all the way across from edge to edge. no borders. I've gone in and adjusted my margins. still no luck. I even tried going into photoshop and just creating an image alone with the pink color. placing the image as a background. But still no luck. I'm at a loss as to how to fix this problem. This is the first time i've done a flyer for someone. So I have never run into this problem until now. Anybody have any ideas on what to do about this? Thanks

Thanks ================================== Your printer may not print to the edge. Maybe pink paper would solve the problem. The following link has a method for finding your print area. Borderless printing is only possible with certain printers such as Canon
inkjets. Models s820 and above and i560 and above all support this option. The easiest way to find your printers actual print area is to draw lines extending past all borders (top to bottom and side to side). The fastest and most cost effective way of achieving a pink background would be to purchase pink paper. Go to a Staples or Office Depot a local print shop. -- Ron Cohen "Jeff" wrote in message ... You will save a lot of toner using the pink postcard. Does your printer have full
bleed? Most all-in-one's do not. Perhaps you should reconsider your design. -- Mary Sauer MS MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://www.mvps.org/msauer/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "Jeff" wrote in message ...
