Have you emptied your temporary cache lately? In Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options, delete, delete files. Compact your Organizer, open your Organizer from start, Microsoft Tools, Microsoft Clip Organizer. When the Organizer opens, tools, compact. There is a detect and repair under the Help menu. Mary, I followed all your directions. When I ran the analysis to update my MDAC components and determine my release version, it indicated that I have MDAC 2.8 SP1 on Windows XP SP2. I tried to access Help on Comonent Checker version 2.0, but the cc.exe - Bad image window opened with the message "The applicaton or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\mscoree.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette. I didn't know what to do next, so I went ahead and renamed Mstore10.mgc to Mstore10.old. When I tried to use Publisher (version 2002 SP3) to access the Clip Organizer, I got the original error message quoted above. Thank you for trying to help me. Can you suggest another solution? |

Absolutely not, do not uninstall them.
I am way out of my league with this. Did you recently install a Windows update? Do you have a restore point before this error occurred? Have you changed the location of your Clip Organizer downloads? The folder should be in My Documents. Try this: In Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options, Settings button, Move folder. It doesn't matter where. A new folder will be created the next time you open the Explorer. Look at the Add-ons for the Explorer to be sure the ActiveX component is enabled. In Internet Explorer, tools, Manage Add-ons. In the Show: Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer. Scroll down to Microsoft Office Template and Media Control. -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "GranDiane" wrote in message ...
