Default MS Office Ultimate Discount for Students- It's Not Cheating

I've just purchased the MS Office Ultimate 07 edition through the Its Not
Cheating offer online. How am I able to re-download my purchase AFTER the 30
days from purchase date?
I re-install Vista every 6mths so I will eventually need to know how to
re-download Ms Office back onto my computer.

Did you make a back up of the file? Did you spend the few extra dollars to
get a disk?

And why do you reformat your system every six months???

I saved the ms office setup file to desktop. I also purchased the "Back Up"
Disk (Media) which is coming in the mail in a few days.
I reformat my system to keep it running smoothly every 6mths, I've noticed
that the computer often slows down from all the constant downloading from the
family.

Saving the file to the desktop or anywhere on your PC will not help, nor
will saving receipt or key on the PC.

Downloading wont slow a PC, malaware or a virus will slow a PC

Then you need to place some restrictions on it. As DL said, physically
downloading a file does not slow a computer down in itself - any associated
malware or viruses will though.
I bet they all log in as an administrator too, don't they?

Which goes away when you reformat, so it's not particularly useful past the
initial install. I'd copy it to an external drive and/or burn a CD/DVD of it.

Disk (Media) which is coming in the mail in a few days.

So there's no real need to download it again?

As for the computer slowing down, have you considered creating separate user
profiles for each of the people who use the PC and assigning them only the
rights they need?

While the people who've pointed out that merely downloading stuff won't cause
slowdowns, I think they're overlooking the obvious: who downloads stuff just
for the ... what? Thrill of it? Surely they're installing what they download,
and that can indeed slow down the computer over time.

At least with separate profiles, you can blow away THEIR stuff and not have to
toss your own.

I usually burn the expanded install directory to DVD or CD. Also make a
file there with a copy of your Product Key. That should be in the email
that you got confirming the purchase. Then when you need to reinstall, just
run the setup application from the DVD or CD. A large percentage of
complaints we get here are from people who either lost their install media,
their Product Key, or both.
