recurring appoitments in Outlook 2000 or 2003
Hi,
I am having a hard time trying to figure out the solution for this, if there is one. With either Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2003, when I create a recurring appointment, for say 4 weeks, and after the end date, EVERYTHING is deleted. Is there a way to keep the past data from the recurring appoitment? |

Maybe the past recurrences are being archived?

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your post. Based on my research, the recurring appointment will be archived after the end date. You may use the following the steps to get the original recurring appointment: 1. Start Outlook, and located to the Calendar folder. 2. Click View-Arrange By-Current View, and click By Category. 3. Click the Calendar in Archive Folders, and you can find the proper recurring appointment from the right panel. Hope this helps. Have a nice day! recurring appoitments in Outlook 2000 or 2003
Can anyone help me out with this scenario?
If I try to end a recurring appointment, I lose all past information (any changes that I have made throughout the series such as moving one occurrence from one day to another). Hey Chris,
Thanks for your posting back. As you have not archived the calendar, the recurrence appointment will still display in the calendar folder after the end-date. And when I end the occurance, I get an error message that stats Any exceptions associated with this recurring appoitment will be lost. If any of the exceptions are meetings, the attendees will not be notified. Is this OK? I lose any of the data or notes for particular occurences I've added through the series.. And same problem. The exact error message that comes up "Alan Sun [MSFT]" wrote in message ... Hey Chris, Thanks for your posting back.
