Default Table text will not align to bottom of cell

Word 2K

I've inserted a Text Form Field in a three rows in a table. The text aligns to the top left even though I highlight the cells and select Align Bottom Left. Is there a back-door approach I can take?

TIA,
Carole O

G'Day Carole,

Check the Paragraph Formatting (in the table), and ensure that
'Space After' is set to Zero.

Yes, Pat - both before and after are set to Zero. I've tried changing fonts and moving the bottom table line - nothing works. I can select any alignment (middle, bottom, top), and the text box always aligns with the top. (Also does it in left, center, right).

I messed around with it again (meaning I'm not sure what I did), and now it works. Thanks for responding to my problem!!

This problem might be related to the cell margins, too. Check in Table Table Properties Cell Options and see the margins you have set for cells.
