Default Tabbed text box opens with all selected

I have a form with tabbed text boxes, and when anyone selects the tab the box
is displayed with all the text selected. Is there a way to keep this for
happening?

Thanks.

Go to the menu bar. Select Tools-Options. Then select tab labeled Keyboard.
Make your selection in the area labeled 'Behavior entering field'

TES,
See my response to this question on the microsoft.public.access
newsgroup.

Please don't post the same question individually on more than one
newsgroup.
It causes duplication of effort, and confusion. What one responder
suggests
is not seen by other responders in the other groups you posted to...

If you must "cross-post", include all the newsgroups in the TO:
Like...
microsoft.public.access ; microsoft.public.access.forms ; etc... as needed

That way, if someone answers in one group, that reply can be seen in all
the cross posted groups.

I guess I am looking in the wrong place, because I can not find it in Access
2007 anywhere. Is it called something else?

Thanks

TES,
Click the Circle icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
Click the Access Options button at the bottom of the dialog box.
Select Advanced, and then selecet the Behavior Entering Field
option you want.

Be aware that you're setting the behavior for all objects... not just
those
controls where the cursor is needed in the first position. Nothing wrong...
if that works for your form.

Sorry for the double question, but I lost connection and did not know the
first question went through, and I was even in the wrong place looking for it.

Thank, and everything is good again here.

TES,
Okay, glad you're all set now...
The multiple posting vs. cross posting is not a serious issue... just a
"heads up"
on that.
