Setting picture to play sound
Hi,
I am doing a favor for a friend, and am unsure which version of PowerPoint she has, but I don't think it matters. Her problem is that she wants to have a picture in her slide that when she clicks on it, it will play a sound. I have no idea how to do this and have tried everything I can think of. I can not test one theory that I have since I use a mac, and it probably works different, but if I hyperlinked the picture to the sound clip, would that work? Is there any other way that I'm missing? I know that it would be easier to have the entire thing timed but for some reason she doesn't want that. Thanks for all your help, Tim Zahara |

This would be easiest to do with a trigger, so yes, it does matter which
version of PPT she's using. Then again, she may be able to do what she needs using an action setting. Have her right-click the picture, choose Action Setting, and then opt to "play sound" on the "on mouse click" tab. -- Echo [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com presenter, PPT Live '04 Oct 10-13, San Diego http://www.powerpointlive.com "Tim Zahara" wrote in message ... This only works for WAV files, but you can select the picture and then go to
Slide Show Action Settings and check on None, but check Play sound and locate and select the WAV file. -- Sonia Coleman Microsoft PowerPoint MVP Team Autorun Software, Templates and Tutorials "Tim Zahara" wrote in message ...
