How can I use binder without unbinding?
Hi M.,
Unfortunately not from Office 2003. The MS Office Binder was discontinued after Office 2000. You can install it by doing a custom install of Office 2000, but that installs the full core file set from Office 2000 to your PC as well. ======== "mgilley" wrote in message ... How can I use binder without unbinding?
Microsoft Binder (binder.exe) was discontinued and is only available in Microsoft Office 95, Microsoft Office
97, and Microsoft Office 2000, however, an unbind tool is available for Microsoft Office XP and Microsoft Office 2003. Microsoft Unbind (unbind.exe) will extract any Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, or Microsoft Visio document contained within and place the extracted documents in a folder selected by the user. You can then continue using your original documents in any way you see fit. If you wish to use Microsoft Binder to create Binder files, you will need to purchase and install Microsoft Office 97 or Microsoft Office 2000. Although Microsoft Office 95 does have Microsoft Binder, the Microsoft Office 97/2000/XP/2003 file format is very different from Microsoft Office 95. In other words, you will not be able to open any Microsoft Office 97/2000/XP/2003 file in Microsoft Office 95 without converting it first. Either way, you will loose features introduced in Microsoft Office 97 and later versions.
