copy email addresses from Outlook to Excel

What exists in the To: field of an email message does not constitute "a list
of email addresses." What appears there is controlled by the Sender, not
Outlook. It is up to you to create a list of valid email addresses from that
field, not Outlook. Outlook can help you by allowing you to create Contacts
from that information. Once you do, you can printout whatever you want.

Russ, I don't think you understand me. All I want to do is get a 'dump' of
email addresses from Outlook. The method I was using was to create an email
(but not send it), select a bunch of email addresses in the TO: field, copy
all of the contacts from the TO: field and then paste into Word. The problem
is that when you paste, sometimes it will paste the email address like this:
, but sometimes it will display only the name like this
"Some One". I do not want to go through my entire contact list and change
the display name to be the email address instead of the name. That totally
defeats the purpose of displaying the name at all.

Normally one would simply create a view that includes the email address
fields and print it.
Or use a mail merge to print your email addresses.
If you try to print what's in the To: field, you'll get the display name not
the email address.
