Default Problem with sending email to contacts in Outlook 2007

I may have had the same problem. If you press the TO button...do you see
addresses in that file on all the contacts?
If not, you need to go through your contacts and just cut and paste each
email back into the email contact, press save and it should now show up in
the TO list...there is something wrong with the reading of the contact file.

I'm hoping someone can help me with this one....

I am running Outlook 2007 with Vista. On sending an email to a contact I
click on the "to" box, select the name etc to bring up the display name of
the contact in the email message box (name and email address). But it will
not send the email - the send receive process works fine but the email stays
in the outbox.

However, if I type the email address directly into the "to" box and send,
the message goes fine. So it would seem to be something with Outlook rather
than my email settings?

Any ideas?

Thank you.
