Is there a + and - zoom button in Visio Professional 2003?
I am used to the older version of Visio Professional with a "+" and a "-"
zoom button. I recently purchased Visio Professional 2003, and I do not see the + and - zoom buttons. I have tried configuring the toolbars, and can not locate them. The Standard Toolbar has the pull down zoom window with percentage, and the view toolbar has the pan and zoom window. These seem a bit cumbersome to me, and I miss the days where you could select an object, and click on the + or - button, and zoom in/out on the object you are focused on. You could even configure the zoom to automatically center on the selected object when zooming in + button, and zooming out -button. Please help!! |

I can select zoom, in which case it shows the pulldown window with percentages, or it deselects zoom, and shows nothing. I am looking for a '+' button and a '-' button that will zoom on the selected objet. Can you help? Thank You! |

Is there a + and - zoom button in Visio Professional 2003?
Hi Mike...
If you're more or less "keyboard-centric" like a lot of us you'll find then pressing control (Ctrl) and rolling the mouse wheel up or down will zoom in or out as well. I like this as there isn't so much mouse movement - I find it faster once you're comfortable with using both keyboard and mouse together. Also you can scroll up/down and left/right with that wheel and shift or no shift. Al "Paul Herber" wrote in message ell.net... Is there a + and - zoom button in Visio Professional 2003?
Hi Al,
you are right using keys with mouse-action is far more easy but aren't you confused with ctrl+shift+left mouse click (for increasing) and right mouse (for decreasing)? because ctrl+rolling mouse wheel up or down doesn't zoom in/out that saying I don't know which advanced mouse you use René "Al Gillis" wrote in message ... Is there a + and - zoom button in Visio Professional 2003?
Anyone know of a way to change the AMOUNT of zoom that occurs when using the
Ctrl+mouseWheel ? I am using Visio2007 and when I zoom out it jumps from 100% to 200%. Smaller increments are better for the work I am doing. Thanks, Steve "Al Gillis" wrote: Hi Mike... Is there a + and - zoom button in Visio Professional 2003?
Hello Steve,
Not directly I'm afraid. You might want to have a look at this thread: http://groups.google.co.uk/group/mic...oll+wheel+zoom If you're dealing with a small set of prefered zoom levels you might find the toolbar customization the best route. Here's a link to about toolbars, which contains another about how to customize them: http://visualsignals.typepad.co.uk/v...-your-too.html Hope that helps.
