Default Timeline Start Date (very old)

I am attempting to create a graphical presentation history of a subject that
begins in 1806 but Timeline Start Date won't allow me to enter 1806.

Is there a way to create a Timeline with a very old start date?

The timeline get's it's date limits from the operating system, thus not
before the early 1900's.
