Visio Objects for network
Yjou would think this would be a great question for me, my initials are WAP.
But, any visio shape that would accurately represent me would be frightening! As far as I can tell, there is not standard symbol for WAP -- Wireless Application Protocol. What few drawings I've seen, add WAP Enabled to the shape. Perhaps the best representation then, would be a cell phone with WAP Enabled attached to it. You can google visio cell phone shapes or something like that. Visio Guy offers an iPhone shape @ http://www.visguy.com/2008/03/23/app...network-shape/. Or you can adapt a clipart drawing and make it a Visio shape. HTH Wapperdude "School Daddy" wrote: I am looking for a shape to add to a network its a WAP shape. There was one other reference I wanted to share. This article talks about
taking existing artwork (clip art, whatever) and turning them into Visio shapes: http://www.visguy.com/2009/02/17/cle...th-png-images/ "WapperDude" wrote: Yjou would think this would be a great question for me, my initials are WAP. When in doubt, go for the obvious. Download the Cisco image (I think the model 1230 might do it). http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/...icon_list.html al "WapperDude" wrote: There was one other reference I wanted to share.
