The field seems to change on it's own after I move to another folder and back

It is set to last name first name...the contacts copy to the folder correctly

I assume you meant Tools Options Preferences Contact Options File
As...? The Title is the same as the File As... , so I don't understand what you mean by "both." They're the same. The Card uses Full Name. Does that change as well?
