Default shrinking publication

Do you want a side fold? If it is a side fold, use a booklet setup. What version
Publisher are you using. It does make a difference.

I have also had problems with something like this and triedthis but the pages
went into the wrong position.
I have a four fold publication on A6 which i want to change to a 2 fold
publication , ie a Christmas card - onto A5.
So I still have the same number of pages front 2 inside and a back page but
I want to use A5. I thought that I would just be able to change the page
size, click print pages 1 and 4 and then turn over the paper in the printer
and click 2 and 3 and it would work but it hasn't. Any suggestions please.
I've also tried to find a 2 fold template but haven't succeedded.
many thanks sandra

Ok. FINALLY got it to work. Not entirely sure how....! I think the only
thing I did was change it to multiple copies per sheet instead of multiple
pages per sheet.

Otherwise, as per my first post, I can get it to print 2 to a page as I
want,
but the margins are huge (actually, the text comes out the same size as
when
it prints on a quarter of a page each..... but my page size is correct -
custom 21 x 14.8cm)

thanks but it didn't work Still shrinking to half size and printing
on
top half of a portrait A4 sheet.
This is really odd.

Setup your page this way,
File, Page Setup, click the advanced on the right,
Page: 14.8cm Width - - 21cm Height

Layout type: Multiple pages per sheet

Options: Target sheet size: Custom, Sheet width: 29.7, Sheet height:
21cm. Zero
margins and gaps. The mini preview will say two columns of one.

You will have one copy on your screen.

I'm using Publisher 07.
I'm sure GbH is right and A5 is half of A4. The page measurements
say
14.8
x 21cm.
I have been playing around with every setting I can find. All I
have
managed to do is get it to print all the way to the margins but at
half
size
(i.e on a A4 sheet my 2 pages are taking up the top half of the page
in
portrait orientation). I want it in landscape taking the whole
page,
which
is what everything in "Print set-up" says, and what the print
preview
looks
like. Aaaarrrggghh!!! Can anyone help!

Have you thought about setting up your page A6 which is half of
A4?
A5 is a postcard size I think. US measurements are different.

What version Publisher are you using?

Hi,
I have generated a 2 page A5 publication and am trying to print
it.
I
have adjusted the magins, and it looks perfect on screen, but
when
I print (2 pages to an A4 sheet) it shrinks each page so that
the
margins are bout an inch wide. It doesn't cut anything off,
just
makes my text really small. All other programs (Word, Outlook,
Excel
etc) print fine. Can anyone help?

A5 is half A4 which itself is half of A3 and so on.

A6 would be about postcard size.

remember the darn question
