How do you create a bullet numbered list template with 1-9 indented so that
those numbers line up with the two digit numbers in the remainder of the list?

In your Customized Numbered List dialog box (Format , Bullets and
Numbering, Customize) set the Number Position to be Right instead
of the default of Left. If you want your 10 and 11 to have their
"1's" line up on the margin, then the setting for Number Position
Aligned At is most likely going to be 0.2" if you are using Times
New Roman 12pt.
