Microsoft Outlook 2000
On a computer running XP Pro, I added a new user. Then gave them an e-mail
accout for Outlook 2000, when the installation was complete the former user on the computer lost all the contacts from her installation of outlook. Is there any way that I can get the contacts back for the origional user? |

I went to %UserName%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook and there is a Outlook.pst file that is 7840kb in size. There are no e-mails, no contacts, no tasks nothing. If there is nothing in the file then why such a large size? And you opened that file in Outlook? Is this for the original user or the second one? Did you search you entire hard drive for any other PSTs, taking care to enable viewing hidden files and folders? -- Brian Tillman |
