Default Powerpoint to TV over Network

We are putting up an LCD TV in our lobby to run Powerpoint on. Does
anyone know of a simple device that I can connect to the TV and
perferably to a cat 5 connection that will allow me to upload a
presentation to the TV?

Thanks

Ummm, does your TV have a cat 5 plug? g If not you need hardware next to
the PC.

I recently had the opportunity to try a wireless unit in an application like
yours and it worked a treat. You might consider it as an alternative.

Yes, this is what I had in mind. Have you had any issues with this?

I only had the chance to work with it for a single conference, but it worked
flawlessly during that time. At a rough estimate we were sending the signal
about 100 ft through a couple of walls.
