Default displaying borders when editing the formulas

When I doubleclick on the formula to see its components, the usual "borders"
around the precedents do not appear.

The formula bar on top still shows the formula, but without familar borders
it is so much more time consuming to edit the cell.

Any ideas why it happens and how I can correct it?

Thanks!!

Try the following:
Click on Tools|Options, and then, on the View Tab, Under Window options,
tick the Formulas option

Thanks Kassie, but that's not exactly what I was looking for.

I can see the syntax of the formula, regardles.

I also tried resetting the Options settings to make them the same as in
other worksheets, where the borders are displayed, but I can't be the case,
becase only ONE tab in the file isn't displaying formulas the way I want.
