Default "New Mail" Message Box

When I recieve new mail, outlook opens up a message box asking me if I would
like to read it w/ Y/N buttons.

Is there any way to stop the message box from showing up but keep the other
notifications (sound, mouse cursor, icon in notification area (system tray)).

Thanks for any help anyone can provide,

Conan Kelly

Tools, Email Options, Advanced Email Options. You can control what happens
when you get a new email.

Thank you, but I saw all of that. It says nothing in there about a message
box. All the other stuff I do not want to shut off.

look in rules wizard - it sounds like you have a rule set up to display the
box.
