Default Text Field Capitalization

Using Acc2000 on Windows Vista OS:

I have a text field in a table with no validation nor formatting. I am
trying to set its value to 'MWest', but access is changing it to 'Mwest'.

Tools + Autocorrect Options.
Uncheck the Correct TWo INitial CApitals check box.

A suggestion. Never use a table for data entry.
Tables are designed for data storage, not data entry.
Always use a form.
